Version 2026-06-22
Participant Waiver & Consent
Joining a Snupix shoot means agreeing to a few plain-language points. This is the full version of the bundle you accept the first time you register for a shoot.
1. What you're joining
Snupix shoots are in-person, group creative photo sessions organized by a Snupix host. You take part as a creative collaborator — photographer, model, or both. Accepting this waiver is part of joining a shoot.
2. Assumption of risk
Creative shoots happen in real places — parks, streets, studios, rooftops, around the city. Like any in-person activity, there are ordinary risks: uneven ground, weather, equipment, the travel to and from the location, and being around other people. You understand these risks and choose to take part voluntarily.
3. Your responsibilities
You agree to look out for your own safety and to treat everyone with respect. You are responsible for your own gear and belongings, for getting yourself to and from the shoot, and for telling the host promptly if anything feels unsafe so it can be handled.
4. Release of liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, you agree that Snupix and ICG Labs LLC, the host, and other participants are not liable for injury, loss, or damage arising from the ordinary risks of taking part in a shoot — except where caused by gross negligence or intentional misconduct. Nothing here waives any right that cannot be waived under California law.
5. I am 18 or older
Snupix shoots are for adults. By accepting, you confirm you are at least 18 years old. The host may also confirm this in person at the shoot.
6. Likeness consent (mutual)
Shoots are about making images together. You agree that other participants may photograph you during the shoot for their own creative portfolios, and you may photograph them — each for non-commercial, portfolio use. Any use beyond that (selling, advertising, or commercial licensing of someone's image) requires a separate agreement between the people involved.
7. Snupix marketing use (optional)
Separately and optionally, you may let Snupix use photos from a shoot in our own marketing. This is an unchecked opt-in at registration — never assumed — and you can withdraw it at any time by contacting us. We follow California Civil Code §3344 and SB 683 on the use of your likeness.
8. Code of conduct
By joining you agree to follow the Snupix Code of Conduct: be kind, get consent, no harassment, and zero tolerance for unsafe or predatory behavior. Hosts can remove anyone who breaks it.
9. Recording your acceptance
When you accept, we record that you agreed to this version (2026-06-22) along with a timestamp, tied to your account. You can read the latest version here at any time. If we change it materially, the version date updates and you'll accept the new one before your next shoot.
